"The beginning is the most important part of the work-Plato”. Say hello to your new safe space! My passion as a therapist is to bring healing to individuals who have experienced traumatic and/or stressful life events, find healthy perspectives of themselves, and strengthen their relationships. Whether it's a child, adult, or family, my goal is for my clients to know and see themselves as peaceful, whole, complete, and safe.
Utilizing a holistic approach, I pride myself in creating a safe, non-judgmental space to share your thoughts and feelings. Please feel free to let down your hair, kick off your shoes, and be your authentic, unfiltered self. My passion is to uplift, empower, encourage, and assist individuals in exploring personal goals for self-improvement.
I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Social Work degrees from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Since graduating, I’ve explored my therapeutic skills in community-based services, residential facilities, group homes, and shelters serving adults, children, and families involved with open DCS or probation cases. With this experience, I received my License in Social Work in 2018. My experience ranges serving individuals with post-traumatic stress, children with sexually problematic behavior, childhood traumas, domestic violence, family conflict, depression and anxiety, and mood dysregulation. I am trained in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I’m a Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC), trained in assisting Domestic Violence Survivors, and Family Centered Therapy.
